I felt like I needed to post something silly because life has been so serious lately. My mom died December 31, after being in ICU for weeks and deteriorating before our eyes. Our friend Lee Russell died the same night. Our friend Carol Slaught lost her mother, our friend Melanie Monistere lost her father. One of my daughter, Alanna's school friend Daniel Raiford passed away after a motorcycle accident. I am just ready to claim victory over this season.
Good news:
We are expecting a princess. We went to the Texans ultrasound and found out they will be having a girl in June. That will be 1 boy and 3 girls for them.
Our granddaughter Hope is doing great. She goes back to the specialist in Gainesville in March. I think she is planning a Disneyworld trip along the way.
I have been handling the thank you cards for my Dad, (sympathy cards) and it is amazing to see and you truly feel loved and cared for. Our God is Good!
